“Mingus Remixed” is the brainchild of actor/writer Barry Shabaka Henley. He has written and continues to perform a stage version of “Mingus Remixed” which is the basis for the film project. “Mingus Remixed” explores the life of jazz legend Charles MIngus through hyper-realistic the lens of the last few minutes of Mingus’s life.
“Build Light Space” features footage from the 13-year documentation project of the design and building of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Nearly 300 hours of HD footage have been archived and will provide the mayterial from whioch a feature documentary will be edited.
